Built according to designs by Bruno Schmitz, the monumental structure impresses with its knight-adorned crypt, four colossal figures nearly ten meters high in the Hall of Fame, and the 68-meter-high equestrian dome. Walking through the monument’s foundation area offers fascinating insights into the massive substructure of the building, a prime example of modern engineering from the early days of concrete construction.

Several viewing points on different levels, up to the top platform at 91 meters, provide a breathtaking panoramic view of Leipzig and its surroundings.

Discover this unique monument and also visit the FORUM 1813 Museum. Located right at the foot of the monument, it introduces visitors to the exciting era of Napoleon.
